Software Chart Link
This software provides seamless connectivity between RS232 and RS485 COM ports directly to the personal computers. Chartlink helps you to take logs of the data while it is getting recorded on the recorder. The beauty of the software is that it allows having a look at the real time status of data on your pc or even the logged data in tabular format. You have the flexibility to set the time interval for the data along with exporting it to excel for further root cause analysis as required by you.
PS: You get the choice of floating & grounded mA which entirely based on your requirement. It basically depends on the placement of the multi-drop system. Floating mA inputs are widely used since they provide the flexibility of placing them anywhere.
